What’s the catch?
There is no catch. We don’t charge an application fee, set up fee, or “make up our loss” fee. We don’t charge cancellation fee, nor do we sell proprietary equipment that locks merchants into our processing. We aren’t going to hold you hostage. We fully intend to keep your business the old fashioned way – by earning it.
Can you service my account?
The answer is most likely, “Yes.” However, we prefer to under-promise and over-deliver, so a more appropriate answer is “probably.” It’s also important to note that we won’t sign up a merchant unless their account is profitable enough to provide a sensible contribution to the benefiting charity. For example, servicing an account that generates $1 per month in profit would simply not be cost-effective for us, nor would it be significantly beneficial to the nonprofit organization. However, these instances are the exception, not the norm; we do our best to accommodate every merchant who chooses to process with us.
Can I choose any charity I want?
The only requirement is that the organization must be registered as a 501(c)(3) organization with the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America. We use the Guidestar database to research charities and confirm their registration status. If your charity isn’t listed in the Guidestar database, we will notify you and give you 30 days to choose another charity. In the event that you opt not to provide us with your selection of a registered nonprofit, we will happily select a deserving organization on your behalf.
How many charities can I support at once?
Currently, our system can only support one charity per account. We plan to be able to accommodate up to 3 different charities per account in the near future.
Can I change the charity at any time?
Throughout the first year of service, you may change your selected nonprofit organization one time at no charge. If you wish to change before the 12-month period has lapsed, your account will be billed a $49 administration fee.
How long does the process take?
Upon receipt of your initial inquiry, one of our Account Boarding specialists will contact you via phone or email to begin the application process. To expedite the process, please submit a recent month’s processing statement with the initial inquiry, so our team can assess your current pricing schedule and provide the most appropriate plan for you. The application process typically takes 20-30 minutes, and most applications are approved within 24 hours.
Can I cancel at any time?
YES! We won’t hold you hostage by charging a cancellation fee, so you have nothing to lose.
What card types can I accept?
All types of debit and credit cards. The most common are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover. We can also accept EBT cards, JCB, and Diners Club.
Do you offer other payment processing services?
Yes. We offer customized gift card programs, loyalty programs, check guaranty and verification service, and ATM sales and placements.
Do you have any specialized programs?
Yes. Telos Law is a program specifically designed for the legal profession. Other specialized programs will be added over time.
